RSA's Shallow Mount Bollard Pad Receives a K8 Rating
Again on April 4, 2005, another milestone achieved by RSA Protective Technologies! The US Department of Security has issued another certification letter for a successful K8 rating achieved at the KARCO Engineering test facility in Adelanto, California, for the 12" RSA/K&C Anti Ram Foundation Bollard Pad System.
This system has an 8" base with a 4 inch concrete cover. According to the Certification Letter and the KARCO Test Report the test article sustained contact with the 15,000 lb vehicle speeding at 40mph with a vehicle rebound of negative 96 inches.
