Videos of Recent K4 and K8 Crash Tests Now Online
RSA Protective Technologies presents the latest evidence of the stopping power of the RSA/K&C Foundation Bollard Pad™.
Our 6.5" Foundation Bollard Pad system installation sustained a K4 rating at the KARCO Engineering test facility in Adelanto, California.. In the K4 test, the 15,000 lb. vehicle hit the test article at 30 mph and rebounded a negative 58".
Our 12" Foundation Bollard Pad system installation withstood a K8 rated collision with a 15,000 lb. vehicle travelling at 40 mph. The vehicle hit the test article and rebounded a total of negative 96 inches.
