RSA Protective Technologies Stars in Washington Post

In the January 29 issue of the Washington Post, RSA Protective Technologies is profiled under the headline "Ubiquitous Security Barriers Get a Fashionable Flourish" in an extensive article concerning perimeter security and urban aesthetics.

The article, written by Petula Dvorak, quotes RSA President, Rick Adler, "I'm bollard-happy. Unfortunately, business is booming," referring to the enhanced threat environment and growing awareness of perimeter security needs for government and commercial installations.

Jersey barriers, concrete planters, even large trucks, although eyesores, were previously being used to erect protective perimeters around sensitive installations, even at the White House. Driven by appeals from architects and city planners, RSA has found an increasingly lucrative niche market for its products. Using shallow mounted, fixed bollards certified by the U.S. State Department to withstand potential truck bombs the Washington Post declares that RSA has hit "a gold mine." The bollards themselves can be sleeved and "dressed up" in any number of ways.

""It's like an exercise in artistry to match the bollard to a building," said Adler". You can read the article here.
