RSA Shallow Mount Removable Pad Innovation is Certified by DOS
Shallow bollard installations have become the perimeter defense choice for government installations domestically and internationally. While the advantage of these systems allows installation without disturbance to near surface pipes, cabling and utilities, until now access to these items post-installation created utility company headaches.
When access to these utilities becomes critical-such as a pipe rupture or cable break-RSA now designates a patented removable bollard pad for these particular areas. First, a water permeable geotech style sheet is placed at the base of the excavation as a breakline between the concreted product and the ground. The pad is removed intact with the concrete to deal with subsurface problems, then precisely replaced using the integral leveling plates and screws.
