RSA’s New Fast Assembly K4-Equivalent Surface Mount Bollards
The RSA/K&C Surface Mount Bollards are set to revolutionize perimeter security protection programs. Requiring no excavation but providing military-level protection, the modular Surface Mount Bollards provide an immediate solution for facility protection.
This revolutionary product is unique among K-rated perimeter security products because security measures can be implemented in just a few hours; the modules can be removed even more quickly when necessary. Surface Mount Bollards are useful for short term events that have special security requirements, such as a dignitary visit, meeting of world leaders or inaugurations, or weekly farmers’ markets. The modular surface mount bollards are also ideal on a permanent basis, for locations where the installation of any other perimeter security device is impractical or impossible due to excavation requirements.
The modular system can create protection of any length, although the minimum for a K-4 equivalent is 65 feet or 3 sets of four (4) bollards, 2 spacers and 2 sets of end anchor reaction blocks. The system must be used on a concrete or asphalt surface. It can accommodate nearly any site since it can be set up to run in a straight line or turn 45 or 90 degrees in either direction. Installation consists of a simple three-step process: forklift placement of bollard pads, adding spacers, then dropping down locking connection plates and end anchors.
